American Cancer Society Relay for Life
Ever since my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer about nine years ago, I have always tried to work for the cause some way or another.
If that meant supporting my mother, I did that. If that meant covering the Relay for Life as a reporter, I did that.
She recovered from surgery and the resulting treatment, and was a cancer survivor until her death in April 2007 from a stroke.
Now I am walking for her this year...and I would appreciate your help.
